My name is Tauni Joy , I am the Traveling Photojunkie!

I love looking at my family images and albums, tiny little books on my coffee table filled with sweet memories. don`t you just love looking at old family photos? looking at my family portraits on my walls as beautiful art work makes me smile every time i pass by. Creating memories for you sets my heart on FIRE. i want , no i will , do everything i can to create something special and unique that you adore.
All right, so how did I get started? Because I do not want to bore you with a book here is my semi-short version.
I used my first credit card with a $700 limit and got myself a camera, 10 years ago. Then I went to the library , I was too broke for WiFi , and read ALL the books! I found mentors to follow around and learned as much as I could. I second hand shot for amazing , amazing artists. I got lucky , like real lucky because I met a group of amazing artists and professional photographers that lead me to eventually co-own my studio for three years in New Mexico before moving to Texas ! My passion and love for photography has continued to grow and I feel unbelievably blessed to share my love for creating treasured memories with ya`ll!
I am a mama to one little boy as well as a wife to my amazing husband. We also have a crazy dog named Mongo and a trouble making cat named Leonardo! I am a salsa and chip loving girl, don`t forget the queso, I could live off of queso! I have zero self control if there is a bowl in front of me. I am loving being in the beautiful state of Texas out in the hill country! Right now I travel to Lago Vista, Marble Falls, Cedar Park, Round Rock and North Austin regularly! I do book out of state as well and I LOVE to TRAVEL to cities and states beyond those limits!

If you know nothing about how to choose a wedding photographer like I did, it's daunting. We met with a few photographers and immediately knew after talking with them that Photojunkies was what we wanted. I think two things matter, the product and the actual people taking the photos. They weren't in my face while I was getting ready but they didn't sacrifice the shot. They were phenomenal at catching candid moments but were also artistically framing beautiful moments. Tauni is great! I had mine and my daughters photos taken recently and they came out absolutely beautiful. Tauni is so professional and talented, she utilized her skills and vision to capture the perfect Mommy Daughter moments. She is patient and knows exactly how to capture all the right moments. Our photos were beautifully created.
I also had my own little fun Boudoir session on a separate occasion with both Tauni. From location, make-up, she patiently and professional choreographed the absolute best experience for me. She displayed her talent and it showed in the photos. Never in a million years would I think I would do a Boudoir, but after experiencing the overall professionalism of The Photojunkies and the super fun experience she created for me, I think I may just do it again.
